How to fill the refillable lighter: Buy a can of Butane at a hardware store. Set up outside or in a well ventilated area and lay down newspaper in case of leaking. Turn the lighter upside down. Shake the can of Butane and push the stem into the valve on the lighter for a 3-second burst to release Butane into the lighter. Do this several more times until the lighter is filled. Wait 5 minutes before using your lighter.

To adjust the flame on your lighter, turn the lighter upside down. Insert a small straight screwdriver across the notches within the circular valve. Turn left or right to your desired flame.
